January 13, 2018 WCR Speaker – Phillip Parrish

2018 January 16
by WCR President Linda Stanton

Phillip Parrish, Gubernatorial candidate was the featured speaker at the Washington County Republicans breakfast on January 13, 2018. Phillip is a former teacher, principal, and more recently a U.S. Naval Intelligence Specialist. Phillip brings a unique perspective and interest in keeping Americans in Minnesota safe.

Under Phillip’s administration, Minnesotans will no longer fund jihadists through the exploitation of social programs. We will no longer train ill-intented people for nefarious and terrorist activities. We will not provide refuge to illegals, illicit front companies, and foreign non-government organizations. We will no longer spend tax-payer money for the immigration relocation program, 750 million dollars of which was spent in 2016.

Phillip’s top priorities are to support private healthcare programs through access to care and private insurance; to cut individual and corporate taxes including removing the “death tax” policies; to expose and remove policies that promote sanctuary cities and programs; to end taxpayer funded programs that threaten life (conception to natural death); to end programs that promote foreign government interest and policies; to rescind executive orders that over-burden small and large businesses; to challenge Minnesota education programs and restore our place as the gold standard in the nation and to make extraordinary efforts to modernize our transportation, energy, and communication infrastructure.

A cornerstone to Phillip’s life is a life of service. He has volunteered for countless church and community youth programs as a teacher, music leader, and mentor for more than 30 years.
