Center for the American Experiment supports parent aligned school board candidates

Bill Walsh, Communications Director at the Center for the American Experiment, gave an interesting presentation today. He began with the genesis of the MN Parent Alliance and their involvement with endorsing MN school board candidates who align with the values of parents and families. It first began with the Statewide CRT (Critical Race Theory) Tour to counteract the cultural “war” happening in schools and alerting parents to keep track of “what’s in the backpack”.  Fast forward, there has been good success electing school board members who want transparency and support parents’ rights. School boards can influence policy, hiring of the Superintendent, curriculum committees etc.  in spite of many mandates and legislation from the State Legislature. There will be candidate training among other support activities provided to impact education in a positive way and improve education outcomes for all students. We appreciate their efforts!
