Planning for the upcoming year at WCR
During the 2014-15 year we heard from:
- Mike Hickey, Nat Fed of Independent Business (NFIB)
- Devin Foley, Intellectual Take Out
- Sen Dave Thompson, MN State Senate
- Kim Crockett, Center for the American Experiment
- Dr. John Spry, Assoc Prof Univ. of St. Thomas
- Scott Johnson, public policy blogger at Powerlineblog.com
- Ted Lillie, MN Taxpayers League
- Updates from elected officials on issues at the Legislature
We’re looking forward to getting starting again on Sat. Sept. 12, 2015 at the Lake Elmo Inn which serves very delicious food. The atmosphere is fun and sociable with like-minded people. Speakers are informative so members can feel equipped to vote and speak about current issues in an educated manner. Consider joining us!
If you are interested in helping out at the SD 39 Republican booth at the Washington County Fair, please do so. There are still some slots available to volunteer.

It is held at Lake Elmo and it runs from 7/30 to 8/3.
We would like to wish the readers of the WCR blog a Happy 4th of July! Most will be celebrating this day by attending parades, watching fireworks, and gathering with friends and family. But please remember, too, that it is a day to reflect on the blessings of liberty.
