We had a full house today to hear an informative presentation from Rep. Tom Dippel and Rep. Wayne Johnson at our monthly meeting. Topics included education, likelihood of a special session, gun violence, Metro Gold Line, the MET council, and Governor Waltz. What we need to do to preserve our freedoms. Rep. Dippel is hopeful for the continued development of Christian Classical schools, as well as the strong demand for new Turning Point USA chapters. Rep. Johnson addressed safety challenges and how he is working with local law enforcement to find the best solutions to prevent violence. He identified mental health needs as a key factor and the failure of the Red Flag law to operate as expected. It is a multi-faceted problem. This is only a brief account. There were many questions from attendees. Come to a meeting to stay on top of things!

We enjoyed a very informative presentation by Mike McCarthy of Fixing Stillwater schools https://www.mn834.org/. Through extensive research, FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests,  and determination, Mike and his committee have proven the extensive progressive woke agenda plaguing Stillwater (834) and all of Minnesota schools. Mike described in detail what he calls the Woke/Progressive worldview as a philosophy of hedonism through four Utopias: sex fulfillment, race division, ‘safety’ and freedom from religion. Find out more at: https://www.mn834.org/ Fixing Stillwater schools. Thanks to Julie Jacobs for leading the meeting.
